Asante Kotoko head Coach, Proper Narteh Ogum, has recognized that experiencing a third sequential loss is a long way from ideal for the team.
After a promising beginning to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, the Reds have encountered a progression of disheartening performance as of late.
Their first loss came against Legon Cities at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, trailed by an astonishing 1-0 loss to Heart of Lions at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Their battles progressed forward with Sunday with a 1-0 loss to Bechem United during Matchday 10 at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Talking after the match, Narteh Ogum conceded the outcome was not great yet communicated certainty that the team would endeavor to make something happen in their impending matches.
"It isn't great for Asante Kotoko to lose a third back to back game, yet mainly, we can ensure that we turn the result around in support of ourselves," he said.
He further portrayed the loss as awful.
"It's an awful loss assuming that you take a gander at the manner in which we played. As far as I might be concerned, we played well. We made good possibilities that we might have changed over."
Following the loss, Kotoko sit in sixth spot with 15 points. They will hope to quickly return when they have Nations FC in Matchday 11 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
