She accused him of excluding her, interfering with her work, and planning harsh treatment against her and other Angel FM staff in a Facebook post that Ameyaw Debrah Media was able to view.
She was allegedly prevented from visiting the Angel FM grounds by security guards on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, which sparked the issue. Ohemaa Woyeje made her complaints public when a video of the altercation went viral online.
She claims that by ordering his favorite hosts to take over her show, preventing her staff from joining Angel FM at its new location, and even requesting payment from musician Diana Hamilton after she appeared on her show, Vincent Opare has been purposefully interfering with her job.
"CEO Vincent Opare would request that his favorite host take my show for an interview at my available time slot. For no apparent reason, he prevented my diligent staff from joining Angel FM at the new building.
When musician Diana Hamilton appeared on my show for an interview, he requested that I accept her payment. I didn't make a mistake when he sent me a question about presenting Saddick Adams as our morning program host," she responded.
The well-known broadcaster further stated that he forced management to question her over unfounded accusations after falsely accusing her of disrespecting him over the phone.
When he never spoke to me on the phone, not even during the time of the accusation, he lied to Dr. Oteng and claimed that I had insulted him by calling his phone. When they summoned a meeting to prove it was malicious, they didn't apologize for the act, she continued. He and Barbara, the commercial director, put pressure on Apeanti to investigate me over a falsehood they had concocted that I had used the platform to raise cash for Okomfuor Kwaadee, which never existed.
Ohemaa Woyeje made a number of charges, including that the CEO regularly interrupted her live broadcasts, excluded her from high-level station conversations, and asked that she turn over any cash presents she received from guests on her show for office expenditures. She further claimed that he had failed to ensure timely wage payments, halted payments to resource personnel, and established a hostile work atmosphere.
She also charged Vincent Opare with revealing confidential talks with others, exercising dictatorial control, and threatening to fire staff members. She bemoaned his management of the station, pointing out in particular his inexperience in the media and his inability to keep seasoned employees, including well-known figures like Yaa Brefo.
She wrote, "He is a dictator who threatens to fire employees at the slightest provocation."
Angel Media Group founder Dr. Kwaku Oteng has distanced himself from Vincent Opare's activities, Ohemaa Woyeje stressed, adding that the CEO acted independently when he allegedly invited masked thugs to the station. Opare has reportedly been told by Dr. Oteng to cease sabotaging her contract since he still appreciates her work to the business.
Concerns regarding leadership and staff treatment at Angel FM are raised by this most recent revelation, which further exacerbates the already existing tension between the broadcaster and management.
