Manchester United has decided to go ahead and pay the big money for Matheus Cunha, who plays for Wolves. They agreed to pay his release clause, which is a whopping £62.5 million! Now, Wolves has said it's okay for United to talk to Cunha.
At first, Wolves said "no" to United's plan to pay the money over five years. But now, United has to pay the full amount for Cunha in three parts over the next two years.
Now that they have the green light, Manchester United can finalize the deal with Cunha and set up a medical check-up. Everyone thinks this transfer will happen pretty quickly!
Cunha has been playing for Wolves since January 2023. He started off on loan from Atletico Madrid and has played 92 games for Wolves, scoring 33 goals. That's a lot of goals!
So, it looks like Manchester United is making some big moves to bring Cunha on board.
