Asante Kotoko head coach, Karim Zito, says the club’s essential objective in the up and coming 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup is to reach the gather stage.
The Porcupine Warriors secured their spot in the mainland competition after overcoming lower-tier side Brilliant Kick FC 2-1 in the FA Container last on Sunday at the College of Ghana Sports Stadium. The triumph checked Kotoko’s 10th FA Glass title.

Looking ahead to their mainland campaign, Coach Zito sketched out the team’s planning plans.
“Asante Kotoko has a parcel of programs. I think on July 6 we are playing Accra Hearts of Oak, and at that point we are moreover to travel to South Africa to play a tournament,” he told Peace FM.
“So you see how active we will all be in planning for the coming Confederation Glass. We are going to do our best, and we will attempt to connect the group,” Zito added.
