Thomas Partey’s future at Arsenal remains dubious as talks over a unused contract have allegedly stalled.
The Ghanaian midfielder’s current bargain with the North London club terminates at the conclusion of June, and in spite of dialogs over an expansion, no understanding has been reached.
Partey, who joined Arsenal store from Atletico Madrid in 2020 on a five-year contract, included in the just-ended 2024/25 Head Alliance campaign.
Following the season’s conclusion, the club declared progressing arrangements with the 31-year-old’s agents, but advance has been slow.
Transfer master Fabrizio Romano has affirmed that no assention has been come to and recommended Partey may take off some time recently the begin of the 2025/26 season.
Interest in the experienced midfielder is mounting, with a few European and Saudi Middle eastern clubs allegedly checking the situation.
Renowned Ghanaian legal counselor and Arms stockpile supporter, Gabby Otchere-Darko, has too weighed in, encouraging Partey to consider a move.
“I’m an Arms stockpile fan, but I prompt Thomas Partey to move somewhere else and make a few great cash for his annuity years,” Otchere-Darko said on Asaase Radio.
Despite the vulnerability over his club future, Partey proceeds to sparkle, having as of late been named Footballer of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Football Grants — his third time winning the respect.
