Gospel star and straight-talker Diana Asamoah is NOT holding back when it comes to pastors hawking “spiritual” stuff to their flock. Honestly, she’s had enough. On live radio, she just flat-out called them frauds wolves in preacher’s clothing, you know?
She didn’t mince words, either. Dropped Nana Agradaa’s name right in there yeah, the ex-priestess who just got slapped with a 15-year jail sentence. Diana basically used that as her megaphone to rant about how the gospel’s turned into a full-blown business in Ghana. And, let’s be real, she’s not wrong.
She’s like, listen, this isn’t just about Agradaa. Loads of pastors are out here selling oils, soaps, magic candles whatever for “spiritual breakthrough.” Diana’s not buying it. She called ‘em out as scammers, plain and simple.
“These folks aren’t serving God. They’re running shops!” she said. “They squeeze poor churchgoers for cash, then toss a little bit back as ‘donations’ and everyone acts like they’re saints. Please.”
She even threw a warning at the police and basically anyone who’ll listen: Don’t get fooled by these so called acts of charity. It’s all a trick to keep people loyal while they rake in the cash. Savage, but you gotta respect her calling it like it is.
Diana’s not just talking the talk, either. She’s been in the biz for decades music, ministry, all of it and says she never needed any of that “spiritual items” nonsense to get where she is. “I’ve toured the world, done big things, all by God’s grace not because I bought some pastor’s miracle oil or magic handkerchief,” she said. Preach, Diana. Preach.
