Angola coach Pedro Goncalves believes Ghana faces an extreme test in fitting the qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.
The Portuguese coach offered these comments ahead of Matchday five of the qualifiers, booked for Friday, November 15, at Estádio 11 de Novembro.
The Black Stars are winless after four games, leaving them in third spot in Group F with only two points, following both Angola's Palancas Negras and Sudan.
In spite of recognizing Ghana as one of Africa's top football nations and taking note of the fact that it is so unique to play against them, Goncalves demanded that Otto Addo's men face a troublesome errand in getting a spot in the competition in Morocco one year from now.
"As far as we might be concerned, playing against Ghana is consistently unique," Goncalves said in a interview with Ghanasportspage.
"Ghana is perhaps of the best country in African football, with superb players, particularly in midfield and assault.
"Ghana is unquestionably a force to be reckoned with, yet that's what I feel, right now, their possibilities qualifying are exceptionally low. It doesn't just rely upon them yet in addition on Sudan, who simply need a point from two matches to qualify. Thus, it will be an undeniably challenging undertaking for Ghana," he added.
The Black Stars held their last training session on Tuesday and are supposed to travel to Luanda sometime in the afternoon.
