The inflation rate for October 2024 has gone up imperceptibly to 22.1%, contrasted with 21.5% in September.
The government statistician, Prof. Samuel Kobina Annim told the media in Accra on Wednesday that this is driven by increases in both food and non-food inflation.
The 22.1% rate for the long stretch of October 2024 is a 0.6 rate direct increment relative toward the year-on-year expansion which was recorded the earlier month.
"Disaggregating by and large pace of inflation from your food and non-food point of view, we recorded 22.8 percent for food expansion and 21.5 percent for non-food expansion for the period of October 2024″,
"Non food inflation has likewise increased by 0.6 rate point, expanding from 20.9 percent for the period of September 2024 to 21.5 percent for the long stretch of October 2024″, Prof. Annim added.
Privately delivered things went up to 24. 6% contrasted with the 23.4% kept in September. Imported things saw a drop to 16.3% contrasted with the 17.0% kept in October.
