After taking office on January 4, 2022, Obour characterized his term as an era of transformation that aspired to modernize Ghana Post into a customer-focused and efficient mail and logistics service provider.
The business achieved notable advancements in digitalization, operational effectiveness, brand awareness, and financial sustainability under his direction.
Obour thanked former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his resignation statement for giving him the chance to hold such a powerful position. He also thanked the Board of Directors, management, and employees of Ghana Post for their commitment to fostering the company's expansion, as well as Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the then-Minister of Communications and Digitalization.
Obour said he is confident that the foundation established during his term will help Ghana Post achieve greater success as he steps aside to pursue other pursuits. Additionally, he wished President John Dramani Mahama's incoming administration luck in its governance endeavors.
