The hacking occurred just days before the artist's album release, raising concerns among fans and potentially disrupting his plans to unveil new content.
In a Facebook post on May 26, Fameye expressed his frustration, stating, “My YouTube channel has been hacked and deleted. I am confident that I will resolve this issue as soon as possible.”
The following day, on May 27, Fameye announced the successful restoration of his channel through a post on X, expressing gratitude to those who assisted in the recovery process.
“Much appreciation to KwameBaahGH. My YouTube account is back and operational. Are you ready for the album? Please subscribe,” he tweeted.
The restoration of his channel is a significant relief, especially as Fameye prepares to release new music, having hinted at an upcoming album.
Fameye, recognized for popular tracks such as “Nothing I Get” and “Mansa,” has garnered millions of views on his YouTube platform and built a robust online following.
