On the last day of the season, they played against Inter Allies at their home ground, the Hohoe Stadium, and won with a score of 3-1. What a game!
Anass Ganiu kicked things off by scoring the first goal. Then, Faruk Mohammed and the team captain, Safian Osman, added two more goals to make sure they won. Even though Inter Allies scored one goal later on, it didn’t stop Hohoe United from celebrating their victory!
Hohoe United had an amazing season! They finished with a total of 69 points after playing 29 matches. That’s really impressive!
They won 23 games, had 4 draws, and only lost 3 times. Talk about a strong performance!
Now, Hohoe United is joining the winners of Zone Two, Swedru All Blacks, as the first two teams confirmed for next season’s Premier League.
There’s still one more spot open for promotion, and it will be decided through a playoff match between Real Tamale United and Techiman Eleven Wonders. It’s going to be exciting to see who gets that last chance to move up!
