The Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit & Challenge (AYTIS) has just revealed its Top 20 finalists for the 2025 event! This awesome gathering will happen from June 24 to 27 in Midrand, Johannesburg.
These talented young people were chosen from a huge number of applicants all over Africa. They are the future stars of tourism in Africa!
This year’s summit is organized with help from the Africa Tourism Private Sector Alliance (ATPSA), UN Tourism, and South African Tourism. The 7th AYTIS is set to be a fantastic event that helps young people, connects businesses, and influences tourism policies across Africa.
The Top 20 finalists show what the summit is all about: creativity, making a difference, and including everyone. Their projects range from eco-friendly tourism ideas and cultural experiences to cool drone light shows and smart travel apps. Here are the amazing finalists:

These finalists will take part in the AYTIS Innovation Challenge Bootcamp. This is a special training program that will help them improve their business ideas. A group of expert judges will then pick the top five projects, which will get to present their ideas live at the summit. They could win funding, recognition, and support to grow their businesses!
The 2025 summit is not just about showcasing young talent. It will also include important discussions, networking opportunities, exhibitions, career workshops, and entrepreneurship classes. With ATPSA’s support, there will be even more chances for investment, teamwork, and sharing knowledge.
