Ghana’s own Antoine Semenyo is absolutely buzzing after locking in a fresh contract with Bournemouth that keeps him at the club until 2030. Wild, right? That’s basically a lifetime in football years.
Semenyo, 25, landed at the Cherries from Bristol City just last year, but he’s already become one of their main guys. Dude’s been on fire—13 goals, seven assists in 42 games? Not bad at all. Helped Bournemouth snag a pretty respectable 9th spot in the league, too. I mean, that's not easy in the Premier League jungle.
He’s clearly pumped about sticking around. “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season,” Semenyo said. You can basically hear the smile in his voice.
The guy can’t stop gushing about the club, either. Fans, staff, teammates—he’s all in. “It’s a great place to be,” he says, and honestly, with the way things are going for him, who can blame him?
Funny thing is, some of the big dogs in the league—Man United, Spurs, you know, the usual suspects—were sniffing around, hoping to snag him. But nah, Semenyo’s decided Bournemouth’s where he wants to be. Andoni Iraola must be grinning like a Cheshire cat right now.
So, yeah. Bournemouth fans, you can breathe easy. Your man’s not going anywhere.
