Bobby Banson is a lawyer who really cares about copyright issues. He recently shared some important advice for creative people about using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their work.
During a chat on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, Bobby talked about how artists and creators can use AI to be more productive. He thinks AI can be super helpful, but he also warned that it’s not a good idea to depend on it too much.
“AI should help you be creative, not take over your work,” he explained. “Don’t just rely on AI to do everything for you.” He reminded everyone that technology is always changing. For example, people used to think traditional cameras would be around forever, but now we all use smartphones to take pictures!
Bobby also pointed out that if someone builds their whole creative career on AI, it could be a big risk. “What if in five years, something new comes along and AI isn’t popular anymore? Then what will you do?” he asked. He believes that no technology can match the amazing way our brains work.
When it comes to copyright laws and AI, Bobby mentioned that people all over the world are talking about how to create rules that make sense for AI and creative work. It’s a big topic, and it’s important for everyone to understand how it all fits together.
