Mohammed Kudus, fresh off signing with Tottenham Hotspur, didn’t hold back about why he chose Spurs. And no, it wasn’t just for the London weather (obviously). In his first interview since jumping ship from West Ham for a cool £55 million six years, by the way he straight up said Thomas Frank was a huge factor.
Honestly, who can blame him? Frank’s got this rep for turning regular players into absolute monsters remember what he did at Brentford? Kudus, who’s already pulling strings as one of the most creative midfielders out there (the guy’s only 24!), basically said, “Yeah, I want a piece of that.”
He put it like this: “One of the main reasons I’m here is the project and the manager’s vision. I want to develop under him. Look at his track record he’s built some serious talent. That’s a massive reason I wanted to work with him.” Not word for word, but you get the idea.
So yeah, next season you’ll see Kudus tearing it up in the Champions League wearing a Spurs shirt. Exciting times, unless you’re a West Ham fan. Ouch.
